At Salty Starfish Travel, we are committed to providing personalized travel planning services that cater to your unique preferences and needs. To ensure transparency and the highest quality of service, we have established the following planning fee policy.

 

1. Planning Fees Overview

Salty Starfish Travel charges a planning fee for our travel planning and services. This fee is designed to cover the time, expertise, and resources we invest in creating your customized bookings and travel itinerary.

 

2. Fee Structure

Initial Consultation: A complimentary 30-minute consultation to discuss your travel preferences, budget, and desired destinations.

 

Standard Planning Fee: 

Domestic Travel (within the same country): $150 per itinerary/5 quotes

International Travel: $250 per itinerary/5 quotes

Group Travel (6 or more travelers): $300 per itinerary/ 5 quotes

Complex Itineraries: For itineraries and bookings requiring extensive research and planning (e.g., multi-destination trips, special events), an additional fee may apply, which will be discussed during the initial consultation.

 

3. Payment Terms

Payment of the planning fee is required before the commencement of the itinerary or quote planning and research process.

Payment can be made via cash, credit card, PayPal, Apple Pay, or Venmo.

Once the payment is received, we will initiate the planning process and begin creating your personalized itinerary or quotes.

 

4. Refund Policy

All planning fees are non-refundable. This policy is in place to compensate for the time and resources dedicated to your Quotes and  itinerary, regardless of whether you proceed with your travel plans.

 

5. Changes and Revisions

Minor revisions to your itinerary or quotes (e.g., changing dates, adjusting accommodations) will be accommodated at no additional charge, as long as they are within the initial scope of planning.

Significant changes (e.g., changing destinations or major components of the trip) may incur additional planning fees, which will be communicated beforehand.
